UPDATE ON VITA TAX PREPARATION SERVICES

As Southeastern Pennsylvania moves into the “yellow” phase under Pennsylvania’s re-opening plan we wanted to provide you with an update on our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Unfortunately due to the on-going concerns related to COVID-19, and the need to continue to maintain appropriate social distancing we will not be re-opening any of our tax sites prior to the July 15, 2020 tax filing deadline. Furthermore, PathWays PA’s VITA program will be permanently closed as of June 30th. If you have not already filed your tax return and need assistance we encourage you to contact one of our partners:  Darby Borough CDC (610) 586-0867, Neighbor to Neighbor CDC (610) 461-8140, Community Action Agency of Delaware County (610) 833-4455 or Ceiba (215) 634-7245.  You can also file your returns online through https://www.myfreetaxes.com/

Additionally, we will not be providing assistance filing for property tax and rent rebates this year.

We would like to thank all of our tax clients for putting their trust in our organization, and our Tax Preparers. We hope that you and your families remain safe and well.  Thank you for your support of PathWays PA.
